Where: North Coast - Coastal Sections.
When: Tonight through Wednesday morning.
What: Total rainfall amounts near 125 mm. Southeast winds 70 km/h gusting to 90 over exposed coastal sections.
Hazard:
- Localised flooding and water pooling are possible with heavy rain on snow, as well as from melting snow.
- High winds may cause fallen tree branches and power outages.
Remarks: Another system has arrived bringing more rain through Wednesday. Additional rainfall amounts of up to 40 mm can be expected with higher amounts inland and over higher terrain.
The long period of rain may lead to flooding in low-lying areas, slushy conditions over higher terrain and inland. High winds may toss loose objects or cause tree branches to break, and result in power outages. The heavy rain and high winds may cause travel delays.
