Strong winds gusting to 80 km/h or more on Saturday.

A fast moving clipper system crossing the prairies will bring gusty winds to southern Manitoba into the weekend. Increasing southerlies tonight will switch to strong northwesterly winds with gusts over 80 km/h by Saturday morning or afternoon. Wind warnings may be required as the system continues to develop. The strong winds will diminish Saturday evening.

Northwesterly winds gusting 80 km/h tonight into Saturday.

A fast moving clipper system crossing the prairies will bring gusty winds to southern Saskatchewan through Saturday. Increasing southerlies today will switch to strong northwesterly winds gusting 80 km/h tonight continuing into Saturday. The southeastern corner of the province is expected to receive the strongest winds; additional wind warnings may be required as the system develops. Winds will gradually diminish from west to east throughout Saturday, with most areas returning to light winds by Saturday evening.
