Severe thunderstorms may develop early this evening.

Hazards:
90 km/h wind gusts
2 cm hail
25 to 50 mm rainfall within one hour

Discussion;
The thunderstorm activity will diminish early this evening.

Driving conditions may be difficult. Local utility outages are possible.

When thunder roars, go indoors! Lightning kills and injures Canadians every year.

Heavy rain can cause flash flooding and significant reductions to visibility.

Severe thunderstorm watches are issued when conditions are favourable for the development of thunderstorms capable of producing damaging hail, wind or rain.
